IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

-From February 12, 2019 to February 28, 2019, the 400 block of N. Crescent Drive will be closed due to construction. Additional street closures adjacent to the 400 block of N. Crescent Drive are scheduled to occur the weekend of February 23-24.

The following streets will be closed on February 24 starting at 3 PM:

  • S. Santa Monica Boulevard, between Canon Drive and Rexford Drive (hard closure)
  • Canon Drive, between N. Santa Monica Boulevard and S. Santa Monica Boulevard  (hard closure)
  • Civic Center Drive, between Burton Way and Third Street (hard closure)

The following tour bus zones will be closed all day on February 24:

  • 400 block of N. Crescent Drive Tour Bus Loading Zone
  • 400 block of N. Rexford Drive Tour Bus Loading Zone
  • Civic Center Alternate Tour Bus Loading/Staging Zone
  • Burton Way Alternate Tour Bus Loading/Staging Zone
  • Third Street Tour Bus Zone (construction zone through March 2019)

The following tour bus zones will remain open for active loading/unloading only (no staging):

  • 200 block of North Beverly Drive adjacent to the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel (shuttles and vans only)
  • North Santa Monica Boulevard, north side, between Canon and Crescent Drives

 

-From November 26, 2018 through March 2019, the Third Street Tour Bus Zone will not be available for tour bus loading/staging activity due to construction. Please use the alternate tour bus staging area on Civic Center Drive, between Third Street and Burton Way, Mondays through Saturdays. Please follow the travel route in the map below during the closure of Third Street. On Sundays, please use the 9300 block of Burton Way adjacent to the Beverly Hills Courthouse for staging/loading. (WILL BE CLOSED ON FEBRUARY 24, 2019)

Alternate Tour Bus Staging Map

-Pursuant to Ordinance 18-O-2747 adopted by the Beverly Hills City Council on January 9, 2018, passenger headphones or earphones are required on all modified-roof tour buses in Beverly Hills, effective February 9, 2018. No person shall use a loudspeaker, public address system or other voice amplification device, other than those requiring passenger use of headphones or earphones, on a tour bus which has had its roof substantially modified or removed.

 


 TOUR BUS ZONES

2018-03-16 Tour Bus Loading Zones

 

  • 200 block of North Beverly Drive adjacent to the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel (Shuttles and vans only; daily, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; active passenger loading zone, no staging)

 

  • 400 block of North Crescent Drive adjacent to City Hall (Saturdays and Sundays only, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; active passenger loading zone, no staging) -WILL BE CLOSED FROM FEBRUARY 12, 2019 TO FEBRUARY 28, 2019 DUE TO CONSTRUCTION

 

  • 400 block of North Rexford Drive adjacent to the the Beverly Hills Library (Sundays only, active passenger loading zone, no staging) - WILL BE CLOSED ON FEBRUARY 24, 2019

 

  • 9300 block of Burton Way adjacent to the Beverly Hills Courthouse (Sundays only, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; active passenger loading zone and vehicle staging during Sunday Farmers’ Market) - WILL BE CLOSED ON FEBRUARY 24, 2019

 

  • North Santa Monica Boulevard, north side, between North Canon Drive and Crescent Drive at the bus cut-out (Daily, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; active passenger loading zone, no staging) 

 

  • Third Street, south side, between Civic Center Drive and Foothill Road (Daily, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; active passenger loading zone and vehicle staging) - WILL BE CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION FROM NOVEMBER 26, 2018 TO MID-MARCH 2019. PLEASE SEE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOVE.

 

The designated access route to the Third Street Tour Bus Zone is via eastbound North Santa Monica Boulevard to Civic Center Drive only.  Tour vehicles may not use Park Way or other residential streets north of Santa Monica Boulevard. 

On November 17, 2015, the City Council approved an ordinance modifying the heavy vehicle weight limit on Rodeo Drive, Canon Drive, Brighton Way, Dayton Way, Bedford Drive and a portion of South Santa Monica Boulevard within the business triangle. Only vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 10,000-pounds will be allowed to travel on the designated street blocks. The ordinance took effect on December 18, 2015.
